My easy steps to healthy and soft feet.

Dry and rough skin around the feet area is every woman's struggle all throughout the year and especially in summer, where feet need that extra care and attention. The skin on our feet is twice as thick as on the rest of our body parts, therefore it requires more tlc, as it becomes dry quicker and is less elastic. Today I will show you my top tricks that I use on a day-to-day basis to ensure my feet remain soft, smooth and healthy! Let's all say goodbye to bad looking feet.

Step 1 - Softening
This first step is essential as it allows our feet to soften, preparing your skin to be removed easier, quicker and much safer. In a bowl of 1,5 litre hot water add 3 glasses of milk (considering the milk will more than likely be straight out of the fridge, this will cool the hot water down a little and keep the temperature perfect), 3 spoons of cinnamon powder and 6 spoons of olive or coconut oil. If you're struggling with coloured or yellowed skin on your feet, add a good squeeze of lemon, which is responsible for bleaching. Soak your feet for 20 minutes.

Step 2 - Peeling
For this step you can use a manual or electric foot filer, or create a foot scrub mixture yourself. In a small bowl mix 1 spoon of olive oil and 1 spoon of coconut oil, 4 spoons of sugar and 1 spoon of coffee. Give it a good stir ensuring all ingredients are mixed together then apply evenly on your feet and massage in for 5 minutes on each foot. This will improve the circulation in your feet as well as get rid of dead skin, leaving them feeling soft and incredibly smooth!

Step 3 - Moisturising
For this final step I strongly recommend applying moisturiser or coconut oil all over your feet, along with plastic bags and socks over night. This will work magic on your skin and I can guarantee you will wake up with a baby bum soft feet. I tend to do this every other night.

I hope you've enjoyed my three easy steps to healthy and soft feet, I'd love to hear your experience and tips that you have tested yourself and that worked best for you!
