5 steps to smooth and sexy legs

18th February, 2019
Spring is almost in full swing in England!! Smooth and sassy looking legs is a must for every woman every year this season. Shorts, dresses and skirts will slowly start coming out of the wardrobes and we want nothing more but to look our very best. Here is my 5 steps guide to healthy, smooth and sexy looking legs.
1. Exfoliate first.
Slough away those dead skin cells and let you legs shine as bright as the sun! My top two skin exfoliating scrubs that work wonders for me are; sugar and coffee scrub. Before I even consider sunbathing, shaving or anything else to improve the look and state of the skin of my legs, I always remember to do a quick peeling at least once every two weeks. Regular exfoliation removes residual dirt and dead skin to give you younger looking, fresh skin. After the skin is exfoliated, it is able to absorb moisture more effectively as well.
2. Oils, oils and more oils.
I've replaced most of my body and face cream products with coconut, argan and olive oil. Argan and olive oil I use mainly for hair and scalp. Coconut oil, however is used by me for face and body skin mainly !! You can read more about my experience with coconut oil. Using oils on your skin not only makes it look glowing and brings out our tan/complexion more, but is it quick, simple and effective - it’s super moisturising, protecting, in some cases antibacterial, and in all cases - decadent!
3. Carrots for pigmentation.
I always get compliments on my skin complexion throughout the whole year, yes even winter! Sunbeds? No, I'm definitely not a fan of those. The answer is carotenoids found in carrots. Ever since I was a little girl my mum always used to peel a plate of freshly picked carrots for me to snack on. I loved it and I still do until today. Consuming carrots or by drinking carrot juice daily I've manage to maintain a healthy and natural looking tint.
4. Green tea.
Green tea, my favourite - contains polyphenols and catechins. These are powerful antioxidants that maintain skin cell health. It prevents skin aging, such as sagging, sun damage, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles. I've replaced my morning coffee with a cup or two of green tea and I also add it daily to my bath which works magic in the long run.
5. Laser hair removal.
I thought I hit you with this one last! Laser hair removal benefits in reduction of ingrown hairs and smoother skin ultra fast and effectively. Pulse Light Clinic based in London offers such treatment which is suitable for both men and women. Laser hair removal is the deliberate removal of body hair using the technology of laser. Hair generally grows all over the human body, some fine and barely noticeable, with other areas having thicker, more prominent hair. That thicker hair can often be in unwanted places or too excessive, such as legs. This treatment is directed towards the removal or reduction of this hair.
Laser hair removal works by targeting the hair follicle with laser light, this energy damages and goes on to destroy the hair follicle, thus stopping the follicle from producing further hairs. The laser delivers an intense beam of light, which is absorbed by the hair follicle whilst the surrounding tissue remains unaffected. Why not watch the process of laser hair removal video which has been performed on four completely different skin types.
